This is a spectacular piece, a true hand made platinum engagement ring from the 20's. The center diamond is an Old European cut diamond, certified by GIA as J-VS2. Its ultra clean, has amazing fire, and faces up white. We love the flashes of pastel colors when we rotate the ring on our finger and really love the fat open culet! The ring is set with what looks like a bunch of petals or sunburst appearance. Inside each of the petals is a .05ct old european cut diamond with awesome open culet's and high crown angles. On the point where the head of the ring meets the side, you can see 3 antique straight baguettes. Inside the ring it is hallmarked "HAND MADE" and "10% IRID PLAT" which is starting to fade a bit. This ring has the look of a 5 figure vintage gem, with a fraction of that price!
This piece is accompanied with GIA paperwork on the center diamond.
